Basic information about our schools:
The Academies of National/Global
Economic Leadership (ANGEL) is a network of twelve schools, at twelve sites,
constituting a public network. These schools are just like your high school
-- except they are:
- Boarding schools, for students 16 years of age and older;
- Located at or near college
campuses, in twelve districts of North Carolina; and
- Specialized high schools,
emphasizing economics, geography, leadership studies, and international languages.
ANGEL is a statewide network of public schools for students in Grades Eleven and Twelve.
Mature and motivated students can apply for admission provided they are in the tenth grade at the time of application.
